“Remembering the Precious Child” April 17th from 5-7pm at the Convention Center

“Remembering the Precious Child”

with Patricia Anne Davis, Navajo Wisdom Keeper

Scheduled for Tuesday April 17th from 5-7pm at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle

2nd floor South behind the escalators.

This is the third in a series of free lectures by Patricia

You will see that learning is healing and healing is learning within the context of Reframing out of the prevalent “Drama life-script” that includes these players:

Win: Perpetrator – Predator -

Lose: Enabler – Persecutor and Victim.

Each player changes roles among these player life-scripts without being cognizant of changing player roles. Thus, people polarize into adversary and conflict according to these player life-script roles. It is predictable and can be mapped out to a “T”.

People communicate and relate according to these life-scripts because we are all socially engineered and conditioned to win-lose dialogue and decisions based on competition, instead of cooperation and collaboration. People are trapped and entrenched in this Normalized Pathology based on the intention for 1-up (win) and 1-down (lose) or powerover because people have not learned that they have powerwithin to have powerwith others to eliminate the need for powerover.

I Also hope to be at the next “Potluck” to assist in facilitating a Reframe process to dialogue out of Dualism and unhealthy helping (Rescuing/Enabling) into “healthy helping” (win-win decisions) by educating about my Indigenous Ceremonial Change Process as a Leveler and Truth-teller .

I use the tool – Art of making distinctions and reasoning to describe the out-of-balance condition and root cause, in order to educate about the “Drama life-script” terminology and how this applies to the current dialogue; and to, Reframe into Remembering the Precious Child.

PURE DEMOCRACY: Peacemaking using an Indigenous Change Process  Occupy Seattle, February 15, 2012

Patricia Anne Davis, MA

1. Problem Identification: naming the out-of-balance condition.
Assumption of superiority – Trans-generational disconnect – Misuse of power – Inequity – GREED and fear of lose – FEAR of survival – Asleep to creative gifts.

Core Issue:  the root cause that maintains the out-of-balance condition.
Conquest mentality; Historical documents instituted into infrastructure designed to benefit Colonialists Invaders ; Vatican’s Charter of Liberty defining ownership of land and property, including women; Vatican’s Charter of the Forrest: “Right of Discovery of Pagan Land” – Discovery Doctrine; Papal Bull, regarding American Indian Genocide and the Willie Lynch Letter regarding deconstructing Black people through Slavery.

2. Obstacles: emptying is correcting the obstacles to internal change that maintain the root cause of destructive and death producing choices.
“I am” my deficient self-image which is self-delusion; emptying self-doubt; Irish “keening” is public grieving of death; symbolic “death” of self-image; cleansing and purifying obstacles that are painful.

3. Realistic Ideal: reframing win-lose=no-win decisions into win-win decisions for constructive and life-affirming choices.  Affirming powerwithin to have powerwith others eliminates the need for powerover.
Win-win decisions for collective survival; remembering that there is a Unity and we are within the Oneness of creation.

4. Co-creative Resolution: manifesting the win-win co-creative solutions.
Design safe and supportive places for emptying without judgment, condemnation or punishment.  Design places to affirm our creative imagination and to our gifts.
Design Process: [powerwithin]

  • Envision – visualize: seeing
  • Conceptualize – intention: thinking
  • Dialogue – affirmation: speaking

5. Life Application: co-creative situational leadership for decision making and    designing the co-creative solutions.
Comradeship and solidarity: Alignment with the authority of our authentic-SELF.
Manifest Process: [to have powerwith others, eliminates the need for powerover]

  • Construct – manifest: doing
  • Life Skill – living co-creative solution(s)

Love Medicine: (listen)

http://www.nativeamericacalling.com/

In these times of crisis many people around the world are looking for something they can trust and believe in. They are turning to indigenous practices and beliefs to comfort their fears. Many Native people understand that the power and the answers we seek lie within each one of us. Have you ever thought about love as a medicine – a medicine that can heal yourself and those around you? When we speak of love, how do we receive it and how do we give it? What is real love medicine? Our guest is Patricia Anne Davis (Choctaw/Navajo) Indigenous Medicine Diagnostician and Practitioner. Walking in beauty and living the loving way…

Win-Lose Decision Making is Systems Design Failure

by Patricia Anne Davis, MA

Manifesting Co-Creative Solution: Pure Democracy – Indigenous

6 Nations of Iroquois Confederacy:
Affirmative thinking system: powerwithin from creator to have powerwith others

1. Male gender life-task: Protector-Providers in healthy helping partnership with
Female gender life-task: Live-givers and Nurturers
2. Initiative by group consensus
3. Referendum by group consensus
4. Recall leader for taking people into hunger, poverty, sickness & premature death
Representational Democracy

Eurocentric Dualistic thinking system: conquest is powerover

1. Hierarchy/Patriarchy – Aristocracy; Oligarchy; Plutocracy
2. Initiative by majority vote is powerover
3. Referendum by majority vote is powerover
4. No Recall for taking people into hunger, poverty, sickness & premature death: Accidents, Suicide, Homicide, Genocide, Infanticide

The Out-of-balance Condition: Killer Power

“…patriarchy and masculinity are not synonymous.  Female patriarchs can be just as domineering as males.  Like their counterparts, they live in a patriarchal ethos that operates through control over others, over themselves, over nature.  We need to recognize also that many men have a more finely honed femininity than many women.  We all are the children of patriarchy and, therefore, we all have to take responsibility for a killer power shadow that would massacre the feminine and the masculine in whatever form they manifest.  [This] is not a defense of the feminine at the expense of the masculine.  The one without the other leads to suicide or tyranny.”#1

Core Issue: root cause is killer power – conquest and powerover

Colonialists do not know how to take care of mother earth, thus her capacity for caring for us is diminishing.  The air that is father sky is also being polluted, yet we continue on a path of self destruction and destroying nature. “Environmental problems… are mostly the result of a miscalibration between human intention and ecological results, which is to say that they are a kind of design failure.”#2

Pamela Colorado and a Dineh medicine person Hanson Ashley in “Wayfinding and the New Sun” concluded that “…people did not learn the most important lessons within the world – but between the world cycles.”  “Between the worlds was the time when humanity had to do things to put itself in accord again – in accord with life, or with the natural world, however you want to say it.”#3

[Hanson knew me and my late father. They were both Dineh medicine people].

PURE DEMOCRACY: Peacemaking using an Indigenous Process

Peacemaking Process Based on Indigenous Wisdom

1. Problem Identification: naming the out-of-balance condition.

Fraud and corruption in leaders and in the government and corporations

Core Issue:  the root cause that maintains the out-of-balance condition.

Addiction to greed – never enough and never satisfied

2. Obstacles: emptying is correcting the obstacles to internal change that maintain the root cause of destructive and death producing choices.

Recruiting each generation of youth to participate in their own demise by using their 5-senses as a weapon against themselves and others by perpetuating social engineering and conditioning to win-lose=no-win decisions

3. Realistic Ideal: reframing win-lose=no-win decisions into win-win decisions for constructive and life-affirming choices.  Affirming powerwithin to have powerwith others eliminates the need for powerover.

Designing a safe and supportive place for people to discover their inherent gifts; to give expression to their creative imagination; to be rewarded by giving expression to their creative imagination; and, for each person, their family, community, society and nation to benefit by giving expression to their creative imagination.

4. Co-creative Resolution: manifesting the win-win co-creative solutions. Authenticity gives authority to dismantle tyranny.

Implement Pure Democracy

The Indigenous Ceremonial Change Process teaches peacemaking and win-win decision making for male and female gender life-task teamwork

Design Process:

  • Envision – visualize: seeing
  • Conceptualize – intention: thinking
  • Dialogue – affirmation: speaking

5. Life Application: co-creative situational leadership for decision making and    designing the co-creative solutions:

I-AIM: Project to support Altai Youth Throat Singers

I-AIM: Indigenous Altai Imagination Momentum

Call for Sponsors to fund

Siberian Altai Youth Throat Singers

Recently I traveled to the Altai Republic where I met six Indigenous young adult Throat Singers.  I had the opportunity to hear them in concert on several occasions and I was intensely moved by their music.  They play traditional instruments and sing in the Altai and Russian language.  They compose some of their songs and instrumentals collectively with the guidance of Svetlana Katynova of Gorno-Altaisk.  I have imagined and written about a way to inspire youth to give creative expression to their inherent gifts that is in alignment with the current Altai Throat Singer project that is beneficial to each musician, their family, their community and to their nation.  It is outlined below:

  1. Create an open safe and supportive space for youth to design activities for creative expression.

2.  Explore ways to discover each person’s inherent gifts.

3.  Promote the creative expression of each person’s inherent gifts.

4.  Reflect on learning experience and support equity in resource allocation.

5.  Define action steps for win-win outcomes

Thus, I have committed myself to organizing a sponsorship call for assisting Indigenous youth in giving expression to their cultural creativity to include Altai Indigenous youth.  Please support this effort with a monthly commitment within your means. My hope is for a cultural initiative to fund Altai Throat Singers through financial stipends for basic needs.  This support will allow them to continue their studies of traditional music at the university level, on track to become professional musicians in support of their traditional culture. I-AIM is an acronym for Indigenous Altai Imagination Momentum. We are soliciting a $75.00 per month stipend for each of the six current Throat Singers to give creative expression of their gifts as singers and musicians.

I will see a similar initiative and cultural exchange event between talented Navajo youth and Altai youth in Window Rock, Arizona someday.  I will solicit the means to bring the Altai youth to the Navajo Nation to schedule four concerts, three on the Navajo and one on the Hopi reservation.  I will see a meeting of Altai and Navajo/Dineh youth musicians perform on Navajo land.  They will see their historical and cultural similarities to support their dream for success in their life time.

Revised Document for Decolonize Declaration

Occupy Seattle for Win-Win: Decolonize Declaration

AFFIRMATION of Decolonization of Seattle with Northwest Indigenous Peoples
WHEREAS, those participating in “Decolonize/Occupy Seattle” acknowledge that the United States of America is a colonial country, and that we are invaders and squatters upon stolen Indigenous land that has already been occupied for centuries, Seattle being the ancestral land of the Duwamish and Suquamish people; and

WHEREAS, Indigenous people of this land have continued to resist the violent conquest, oppression, exploitation and victimization by the invaders and colonizers since they first arrived on this continent; and as a result have endured a great amount of trans-generational trauma and woundedness; and that their experience strengthens this movement to expose those on-going inhumane crimes; and

WHEREAS, after centuries of disregard for the welfare of future generations, and the repeated disrespect and exploitation of the Earth, we find ourselves on a violated and polluted planet, lacking the Indigenous people’s wisdom and knowledge to live in balance, harmony and at peace with the community of Life; and
WHEREAS, the term “occupation” has been used by imperialists to colonize Indigenous lands
WHEREAS, the term “occupation” has also been reclaimed by proactive workers of color from Latin America (Oaxaca, Buenos Aires, South Korea, China among other places) to describe their occupation of factories, schools and neighborhoods, to expose the oppressive forces led by white supremacy and capitalism. It is in this context that we use the term “occupy”
WHEREAS the borders of the United States of America are a colonial construct based upon the violent destruction of Indigenous land across the continent and therefore illegitimate in our eyes
WHEREAS this land is currently occupied by descendants of slaves kidnapped from the African continent, as well as economic refugees forcibly displaced by the forces of capitalism and imperialism around the world, therefore

AFFIRMED, that we prioritize the involvement of Indigenous sovereign people in the redesigning and rebuilding of a new way of living on their ancestral land in the context that there is one mother of us all, our earth mother; and

As a Decolonization Declaration to the national “Occupy” movement and to Indigenous members who have been excluded by the colonialist language used to name this movement, it is declared that the phrase “Occupy Seattle” is reframed to the inclusive cross-cultural term “Occupy Seattle for Win-Win” to affirm the guidance and participation of Indigenous peoples; and to affirm the history of proactive labor struggles associated with the term “occupy”

Awakening to compassion and extending an open hand of friendship and partnership, we hereby invite Indigenous members of the Pacific Northwest and all displaced peoples to collaborate with us in this event remembering and reawakening to our original identity as Humane Beings – that is now initiated on this continent and worldwide simultaneously.
We intend to facilitate the process of healing and reconciliation and implore Indigenous Peoples to share their knowledge and wisdom of stewardship of the earth, water, fire and air to inspire and guide us restore pure democracy out of representation democracy as design failure in governing for collective survival; and to initiate a new era of cooperation and peace that is cross-cultural, intergenerational, inclusive and universal in practical application upon Mother Earth with the original Indigenous inhabitants of this land; and thus

WE CO-CREATIVELY AFFIRM OCCUPY SEATTE FOR WIN-WIN, IN SOLIDARITY OF NATIONAL DECOLONIZE ACTION DAY – NOVEMBER 18, 2011.

Thank you for participating in the “Song with No Words”

Transcribed from the conference call on August 21st as the Fellowship returned from the week of Ceremony on Altai.

Thank you everyone.  This is Patricia.  You have participated in the song of no words, with your intention and commitment to using the light of your sacred-SELF for grounding love and peace in the world.  This is synchronistic, being in harmony and balance with the divine plan and the natural order; and it is synergistic.  We had an opportunity for the unifying principles to manifest by honoring the call to go out and to have so many people remember and reawaken and renew our ways of being in the world.

The most important thing is this tremendous appreciation and gratitude for all the people in their own way and in their own place who understood that the spiritual realm is beyond our temporal time and space into eternal time where you all of you are existing in the eternal now – within us.  With all the gifts that have been equally given to us, we have used for the listening and the receiving spiritual energies.  Also, grounding and sending these energies through a very simple technique of uniting people in such a way that they can understand that we are all connected.

And that was most challenging to me was how to use words that define very esoteric knowledge and wisdom in such a way that conveyed the unifying principles for so much participation.  To all the beautiful people who put their heart and time in assisting – so much appreciation to all of you, to everyone.

We are feeling the song of no words in the heartbeat of Mother Earth and in the in-breath and the out-breath in the universe the creator’s holy breath is breathing through our life, our living and our being.

Love and light to all of you!”

My own definitions/descriptions:

Synchronistic: A “front” word for spirituality where the concept of A, B, C, D manifests as E representing what the Swiss Psychologist called a “meaningful co-occurrence.”   This holographic and holistic term is different from causality where A causes B resulting in dualism that results in people polarizing in “for” and “against” someone or something.  Adversary, conflict and war are the consequences of dualistic -thinking.

Synergistic: A “front” word for the effectiveness of loving intention and energy for the increased effect of all the groups intending, visualizing, affirming and manifesting together is more than the sum of each participant. People using their collective conscience and creative imagination to manifest the unifying principles of win-win decision making is the appropriate function of our thinking.

Song of no words: from the Metaphysical literature the “Voice of the Silence” is where the “raincloud of knowable things” reveals spiritual wisdom and knowledge to each soul in what is now known publically as the Gold Star meditation.  From the Navajo/Dineh spiritual language lens, it is the air that makes the sound of the perfect love and peace of creator that radiates to the physical sun, to the holy plant people and we exchange oxygen and carbon dioxide – the miracle of Photosynthesis.  We call this “air” the holy creator’s breath.  We are alive with it and we speak with it.

©Patricia Anne Davis, MA and the Navajo Nation Justice Department  All my work is translated from the Navajo/Dineh language and those italicized  words notate that.  The meaning and vibration is my way of keeping track of information in English while I exist, speak and write in the Dineh Affirmative thinking system.  For an explanation of the terms above, please visit the  glossary

Message from Moscow

Arrived in Moscow on Wed the 13th – lost a day, the 12th.

Had a few hrs to sight see there. Spent a night and full day in Novosibrisk and the next night on a train to Altai where I am at now. Leave in the am by van to the place where we raft down the river and begin our 1st Trek in the wilderness for 14 days.

Lots of delicious food and beautiful landscape and amazingly different energy here. We are staying with 2 Altai Indigenous men – friends of Carol our sponsor.

Love and blessings,
Patricia Anne Davis
